Short, because wecollect very little.
This notice covers this website only. GTI Systems accounts have their own arrangements, agreed with each business as the data controller.

Who we are
GTI Global Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 17140326, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. For anything on this page, write to info@gti-systems.co.uk. We are the data controller for this website.
What this site collects
- If you send an enquiry: your name, email address, company name if you give one, your message, the date and time, and the IP address the form was sent from.
- If you only read the site: nothing that identifies you is collected by us beyond the standard web server log kept by our hosting, which records requested pages, times, IP addresses and browser type.
There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no social media tracking and no third-party script of any kind on this site. The typefaces are served from our own server rather than a font service, so your browser does not have to call anybody else to display the page.
Why, and on what basis
We use enquiry details to reply to you and to carry on that conversation — our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to. We keep the IP address and timestamp to stop the form being abused by automated senders. We do not use any of it for marketing lists, and we do not sell or share it.
Cookies
We set no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through. One cookie is used, and only on the contact page:
Because it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, it does not require consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. If you never open the contact page, you are never given a cookie.
The Design Studio demo
Everything in the Design Studio happens in your own browser. Product photos and logos you add are never sent to us or to anyone else. If you press “Save as template”, that template (a reduced copy of your photo, its name, the marked area and its rough size) is kept in your browser’s own storage on your device, so it is there next time. We cannot see it. It stays until you press “Delete” or “Delete all my templates”, or clear your browser’s site data. Nothing is kept unless you ask for it, so this needs no consent banner.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Enquiries arrive as an email in our own mailbox and are also written to a log file on the web server that is not reachable from the internet. Both are kept while the enquiry is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted. Web server logs are kept by our hosting provider under their own retention schedule.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider, because the website and the enquiry log sit on their server, and our email provider, because the enquiry arrives in our mailbox. Nobody else. We do not share enquiry details with anyone, we do not sell them, and they go on no marketing list.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email us and we will deal with it within one month. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, sends a content security policy and the usual protective headers, validates everything submitted on the server, and rate-limits the enquiry form. No payment details, passwords or special-category data are collected here at all.
